Metro Rail Corporation Ltd Releases Vide Notification For Freshers/Experiance In Various Positions On August 2015
ABOUT COMPANY
The Govt. of Maharashtra is committed to implement Metro Rail Project to improve traffic and transportation scenario in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This Mega project shall compliment various transport infrastructure improvement initiatives taken up throughout the region.
The objective of Metro is to provide a rail based mass transit facility to people residing in areas presently not connected by Suburban Rail System and to bring in the Metro System within approach distance of 1 km, and to provide proper interchange facilities for connecting neighboring areas of Thane, Navi Mumbai, Vasai, Virar, etc.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority was established in accordance with the Mumbai Metropolitan Development Act, 1974, on 26th January, 1975.
The MMRDA prepares plans, formulates policies and programs, implements projects and helps in directing investments in the Region.
